Position: Senior Facilities Support Assistant

Location: Blavatnik School of Government or the ROQ Site, Oxford

Grade: Grade 5 (£28,759 - £33,966)

**Role Overview**:
As a Senior Facilities Support Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our Facilities team. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising tasks, ensuring smooth event execution, providing support and advice, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and delegate tasks to building assistants- Provide exceptional customer service to building users- Collaborate with contractors and contract cleaners- Assist in planning and executing office moves and projects- Prepare and set up venues for lectures and events- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment- Act as a Fire Marshal and respond to emergencies- Support maintenance schedules and health and safety standards- Carry out reception duties and handle post and goods

**Selection Criteria**- Proven experience in building maintenance and customer service- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise a team- Practical DIY skills and understanding of health and safety regulations- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT skills- Excellent communication, both verbal and written- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
