**Recovery Coordinator** who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

**Where**: Hull

**Hours**: 37.5 hrs per week, 12 month FTC

**Salary**: £26,393.77 - £30,316.74

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
- Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
- Work in partnership with Probation and Criminal Rehabilitation Companies (CRC)
- Provide a seamless link between police/court custody suites, prison, and the community
- Provide information for courts and other criminal justice agencies of suitability for drug treatment interventions
- Work alongside our partners such as Police, Probation and our CGL prison teams

**About you**:

- Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within criminal justice or related field
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice system
- Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships
- Knowledge of effective interventions that lead to reduction in drug related crime
