Finance and Administration Assistant within a fast pace reactive maintenance office environment with in house training.

Role Purpose

As a Finance and Administration Assistant you should provide a range of general administrative duties to all staff and provide a courteous and efficient service to all customers.

Your main accountabilities will be as follows:

- Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting sales and purchase invoices
- General Purchase and Sales Ledger maintenance
- Undertake a varied range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient service is delivered.
- Typing up of quotes
- Maintain diary and booking in appointments
- Keep on top of filing
- Help Sign for deliveries and ensure these are unpacked and booked in as soon as possible.
- Place orders with suppliers
- Keep customers updated with job progress
- Assist by writing up quotes and Risk and Method packs
- Set up new jobs
- Organise incoming jobs
- Chase Quotes
- Scanning of operative reports and filing

Who we're looking for
- Excellent team working skills. Able to build relationships with both colleagues and customers.
- Multitask and work well under pressure and tight timescales.
- Adequate typing speed and IT Skills. Training will be given for the system used.
- Good spoken and written communication with the ability to keep all relevant parties informed.
- Highly organised and able to work on own initiative.
- Friendly and professional attitude and appearance.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn in a new environment/ industry

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.44-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

**Benefits**:
