We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Counselling Services Administrator to join our team. This individual will have a key role in assisting our Dove Adult Community Bereavement Service in delivering the highest standard of care to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about administration and looking to make a significant contribution to our valuable services at St. Luke's Hospice.

**About the role**

As a Counselling Services Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of Counsellors in terms of scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, and performing administrative functions. Your role would be key in ensuring the smooth operation of our service.

**Salary**: £21,122 to £23,286 per year pro rata (actual: £12,673 to £13,971 per year)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week, (days to be determined)
**Location**: In-person, Thurrock Hospice

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Managing schedules and appointments for our team of Counsellors.
- Maintaining and updating client records in line with legal guidelines.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks.
- Ensuring confidential, secure, and effective information management.
- Assisting with the coordination of the bereavement services activities.
- Communicating with clients and their families in a sensitive and professional manner.

**About you**:

- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in the use of standard office software and database systems.
- A sensitive, professional, and compassionate approach. A commitment to the mission and values of St Luke's Hospice.
