**Value Stream Delivery Lead - Redditch/ Flexible**

**Value Stream Delivery Lead** required for a leading retail business based in Redditch to be responsible for maintaining the health of the value stream and safely accelerate the flow of work from idea to delivery. This includes the prioritisationof work in sprint planning, as well as coordinating and managing releases in the value stream.

The salary on offer for this position is between **£70,000 and £80,000 per annum** plus benefits.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Act as the escalation point for unresolved blockers and/or impediments within the value stream.
- Co-ordinating full lifecycle delivery across multiple features teams that make up a value stream. Maintaining the health of the value stream and the flow of work from ideation through development, testing, and production to delivery.
- Supports and manages the feature teams, driving optimal delivery through resourcing and continuous improvement.
- Joint authority, alongside product owner(s), and with the support of the HO value stream delivery, to agree PI planning commitments for next increment.
- Manages value stream budgets - contributes to annual FY budget planning to ensure right team structures are agreed and to quarterly reviews and CAPEX drawdowns.
- Risk management, dependency management inside, outside and across Value Streams.
- Resolving issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality either in isolation or in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Reporting - Working with the team to produce the delivery reports for upward reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborates with practice pool leads to support the building and managing of the specific capability areas.
- Ensure appropriate commercial agreements with third parties supplying work packages and products.
- Day-to-day management of 3rd parties in partnership with the project manager.

**Key Skills required**:

- Collaboration with senior stakeholders, product Owners, third parties and 'end users' managing expectations appropriate to audience.
- Knowledge and experience of agile and traditional software analysis and development methodologies (e.g., SDLC/Waterfall and Agile/Scrum).
- Good communication and presentation skills - proficient verbal and written communication skills which consider the intended audience and employ different methods accordingly.
- Collaboration with self-organizing and cross-functional teams to push quality and value to product users.
- Ability to illustrate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
- Financial acumen and commercial awareness with the ability to understand financial and accounting implications of decisions.
- Decision making - the ability to make decisions individually and as part of a team.
- Consultancy skill set - including negotiating and influencing skills.
- Strategy - review and analyse new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies aligned with engineering good practices.
- Understanding of line management responsibilities (e.g., resource Planning, objective setting, training, coaching, and mentoring other BAs as required).
