If so, then we have an exciting opportunity to work within Middlesbrough Multi-Agency Children’s Hub representing Early Help within Children’s Services.

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic multi agency team assessing contacts and early help referrals regarding children aged 0 - 18 years. The Team is co-located with other partners including Cleveland Police, Harrogate District Foundation Trust, Social Care, Education and Housing, alongside a range of other key stakeholders.

This role is rewarding and requires you to take responsibility for screening early help referrals using the Threshold of Need, discussing referrals with colleagues, partner agencies and families to be able to offer the right service to prevent escalation to specialist services and promote the resilience of families.

The role also includes participating in multi-agency triage and Social Care strategies to consider the needs of children and young people, collating and presenting evidence of what early help has been undertaken with families and the impact of early help services.

A comprehensive knowledge and skill-base is required and as an enthusiastic team player, you will need to use your initiative and champion improvements in practice. The ability to develop strong relationships with schools, colleagues and other safeguarding partner agencies is also a must for this role.
