**Role: Restaurant Manager**

**Location: Windemere**

**Salary: Up to £35k**

We are recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to lead the Food Service for this stunning high quality boutique hotel operation. With a five-star service within this award-winning restaurant, the Restaurant Manager will lead the daily restaurant operation and manage the food service team. The role will work closely with the Bars Manager to ensure a seamless experience for all guests and report into the Operations Manager.

**The role**:

- You will be the face of the Restaurant Operation, leading the team to deliver the highest standards of service to all guests.
- Recrutiment, training and ongoing development of the restaurant team, including the Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisors and Food & Beverage team.
- Work closely and liaise regularly with the Head Chef, Kitchen team and Bars Manager.
- Maintain and control stocks and expenditure.
- Solid experience as a Restaurant Manager within a fine dining restaurant operation or a high quality 4/5-star hotel.
- Ideally you will be from a small high-quality hotel or restaurant background with experience of delivering award winning food and service.
- A real foodie who has a genuine interest in food and wines is very desirable. WSET Level 1 or 2 is preferred.
- A strong work ethic, and strong leadership skills, able to motivate, inspire and develop team members.
- Confident managing busy high-end services, with the ability to communicate effectively, and lead efficiently with professionalism and flair.
