We are seeking to appoint a Head of Behaviour Support to lead, coordinate, deploy and quality assure the school’s behaviour support team and support the school’s behaviour strategy as part of the wider pastoral team. The postholder will act as the single point of contact between the Behaviour Support Team and other pastoral stakeholders (Leadership Group, Year Coordinators, teachers, external agencies where appropriate, etc)

**Responsibilities**
- Take a lead role within the school to support the needs of pupils who need additional support to overcome barriers to learning
- Lead the school’s ‘Learning First Zone’ and ‘Focus Room’ and to ensure appropriate staffing, resources and the embedding of restorative justice practices
- Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model
- Build effective relationships with parents and carers, including carrying out home visits as required
- Coordinate and deliver work with targeted pupils to improve behaviour through a range of support measures including regular mentoring sessions and reflective reconciliation exercises as required

**Salary**: £31,818.00-£33,747.00 per year
