**LARA Search** are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
**Behaviour Mentor** to join our college. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour, and provide them with guidance and advice on how to overcome any barriers to their learning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with students to identify and address any behavioural issues that are impacting their learning
- Develop and implement behaviour management plans for students, in conjunction with teachers and other support staff
- Provide one-to-one mentoring and support to students, helping them to develop strategies for managing their behaviour
- Liaise with parents, teachers and other support staff to ensure a joined-up approach to managing student behaviour
- Monitor and track student progress, and provide regular feedback to teachers and senior leaders
- Provide pastoral support to students, as required

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- A good understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to develop and implement effective behaviour management plans
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- A willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
