**Job description**
The Dixon group has been around for over 100 years and is still to date, a privately owned company which is something we pride ourselves on. We are recognised as a successful supplier of high quality hose valves, pipe and fitting solutions to construction, industrial, food/beverage, pharmaceutical, mining and agricultural industries.
**Job Summary**
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive quality standards and processes across all departments covering customer quality concerns and internal non-conformances.
- Ensure best practice quality principles are followed for all business processes and are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Liaise with supply chain on supplier quality management and work towards implementing supplier performance improvement plans where required.
- Ensure the integrity of the manufacturing system is maintained through accurate quality data, inclusive of both technical & purchasing design specifications, part records and drawings.
- Management and approval of all ISO and PED quality audits, processes and procedures. Ensuring all current policies are valid and implementing new where required.
- Ensure new policies and processes are executed across the business and employees given direction on procedural change, in order to deliver the highest level of quality at all times.
- Ensure high customer service levels through the issuing of certification packs and calibration reports both internally and externally.
- Producing monthly quality KPI’s and reports.
**CORE COMPETENCIES**
- Knowledge and proven experience of managing ISO quality management systems within a business.
- Experience of Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) is an advantage.
- Internal & external auditing experience prefered.
- Strong interpersonal skills for both internal & external customers.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- High quality standards / attention to detail.
