The Individual Giving Officer (Retention and Donor Pathways) position is focused on integrating fundraising and supporter engagement into the fabric of the University's culture, fostering broader community involvement.

The postholder will oversee a comprehensive strategy aimed at retaining existing support and improving the supporter experience. This encompasses overseeing the planning, execution, and oversight of fundraising initiatives focused on donor renewal, retention, and large-scale stewardship efforts.

We’re currently seeking a highly organised and solution-focused individual for the position of Individual Giving Officer (Retention and Donor Pathways). The Individual Giving Team is in a place of growth and this individual will play a critical role in achieving our goals.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about philanthropy, has a proven track record in supporter engagement, and is committed to driving results by taking ownership of a full and diverse programme of fundraising opportunities.

If you have a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, work under tight deadlines, and communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, we would love to hear from you.

It’s an exciting time to be joining the Development and Alumni Engagement department (DAE), and specifically the Individual Giving team. at the University of Warwick. We’re preparing for the launch of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the University’s fundraising and engagement activity.

The purpose of the Individual Giving Team is to raise the visibility of philanthropy across the University, inspiring a culture of giving that supports student success and fuels research and innovation. We believe that by sharing engaging stories of student success and the impact of philanthropy, we can build deeper relationships with our donors and retain their support for years to come.
