Overview of Business Development Assistant Role
The administrative assistant will play a vital role in organizing, managing, and keeping the office and overall company administration running smoothly. It is a varied, fast paced, and challenging role that will include various administration activities as well as customer service and working with our suppliers and vendors. This individual will be the backbone of the business and will work directly with the owner of the company. This role will allow you to see how your efforts convert into real results for the company and enable its continued growth and success.

This role will work across all of RWG Enterprises group companies.

Main Purpose of Role
The main purpose of the Administration Assistant is to efficiently and effectively manage the administration activities of the company and to positively engage with customers, suppliers, employees and associates.

**Key Tasks (In order of priority)**
1. Follow up with customers on open quotations
2. Liaise with couriers and distribution companies regarding pricing and incoming and outgoing logistics
3. Maintain various databases to a high degree of accuracy in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
4. Liaise with suppliers to obtain prices and commercial proposals
5. Draft new product and equipment specification sheets
6. Maintain stationary and consumable levels for offices and factory
8. Answer and direct phone calls
10. Maintain a filing system both hard copy and electronic
11. Create purchase orders and send to suppliers and monitor status of same
12. Maintain dialogue with customers on existing orders
13. Contact customers regarding overdue payments
14. Perform research as requested, review reports and data
15. Provide support to site visitors
16. Make travel arrangements including booking flights, cars, and restaurant reservations
18. Create reports
19. Maintain contact lists
20. Obtain quotes for minor repairs and odd jobs at the factory
21. Data Entry
22. Sort and distribute incoming mail
23. Prepare shipping documents and invoices for outgoing goods and customer orders
24. Liaise with customers shipping companies to provide required information and arrange collections
25. Collate product and material samples and send to customers
26. Maintain a positive dialogue with customers and potential customers

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
