**Location **:Day Care Centre, Birdston, Kirkintilloch

**Hours**: 9am to 5pm / Monday to Friday / 37.5 hours

To cover Maternity Leave

**Job Summary**

To assist and support the Admin and Finance Department with general admin and accounts duties.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

To meet and greet visitors to the facility

To assist with telephone duties

To assist in checking and processing purchase invoices on Sage

To assist in checking purchase suppliers statements

To assist in daily banking and petty cash

To assist Finance Manager with general accounts duties as required

To assist Day Care Manager with general administrative duties

**Qualifications and Skills**

Previous experience is not necessary, however, a keen interest in excel and basic accounting knowledge is required.

**Required**:
Good numerical and word processing skills

Knowledge / experience of MS Word and MS ExceL

Good communication and organisational skills
- spoken and written English essential

Friendly, confident, well-presented and customer-focused

Professional telephone manner

Genuine interest in working within a caring environment

An appreciation of need for confidentiality

**Desired**:
Knowledge / experience of MS Word, Excel, Sage Accounts Package

Previous experience of accounting computer packages

Previous experience of book-keeping / administration

Team player

Ability to work on own initiative, Time management, prioritizing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
