**Description**:
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Lawyer in the Employment Rights department. As an Assistant Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a full caseload of employment advice and representation matters. This includes handling issues such as unfair dismissals, wage claims, settlement agreements, and discrimination claims under supervision. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal assistance to our clients while upholding the firm's standards of excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage a full caseload of employment advice and representation matters, ensuring all aspects are handled effectively from beginning to end.
- Assess and advise on the prospects of success and value of Employment Tribunal (ET) claims.
- Work collaboratively with clients, union officers, and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring accurate documentation and correspondence.
- Prioritise tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Uphold statutory duties relevant to Employment Rights and adhere to ET rules of procedure and litigation processes.
- Demonstrate strong file management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Play an important role in contributing to the team's objectives and maintaining good client relationships.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Sound theoretical knowledge of Employment Law and ET procedures.
- Experience in advising on and conducting ET claims.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including drafting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach.
- Empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
