Join us as an Assistant Lawyer, specialising in Personal Injury. Be a part of our team in Newcastle, to run a varied caseload of PI cases. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing a varied caseload, including both litigated and non-litigated PI cases.
- Utilise your expertise in personal injury law, CPR, rules of evidence, litigation processes, and funding to assess and advise on evidence, liability, and quantum.
- Whilst having a strong passion for client care, blend technical expertise with exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong file management skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Continuously expand your understanding of statutory duties relevant to personal injury and the litigation process.
- Represent clients predominantly from the health and education sectors.
- Take an empathetic approach, providing a personalised legal service with a professional touch.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Confident and decisive decision-maker with a focus on daily case progression.
- You will need to have knowledge of the law relating to personal injury and the civil litigation process and have experience of running your own personal injury case holding.
- At least 2 years' case handling experience as a qualified lawyer
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Direct client interaction experience, with an understanding and skill for client care.
- Previous experience in using electronic case management systems.
- Strong numeracy, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Possession of a law degree or equivalent qualification.
