**Maintenance Controller**

**Based: Milton Keynes**

**Salary £24-28K**

Do you have NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Light Vehicle) or City & Guilds equivalent. With previous workshop experience?

With a number of years’ experience managing fleets of Cars and Commercial vehicles, this client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Controller to efficiently manage the maintenance, service and repair provision of their maintained fleet.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the most cost-effective solution is applied in line with defined Client guidelines
- Maximise goodwill contributions from vehicle manufacturers
- Ensure all work that should be warranty is referred to the manufacturer
- Oversee accident management process to ensure that the process is being followed correctly.
- Proactively chase end users for service, MOT’s and other repairs that are outstanding
- Discussing vehicle faults, issues and functionality with end users
- Instigate, investigate and resolve any client or driver issues/queries
- Ensure Client Procedures are always updated
- Deal with maintenance booking requests
- Monitor and manage downtime & replacement vehicles
- Prepare information for client reviews as required
- Challenge end-of-contract recharges and resolve disputes

There may be requirements from time to time for additional duties, tasks or responsibilities that are required for the continued smooth running of the operation

As a positive enthusiastic individual, you will be personable and approachable, ideally with the following skills and experience:

- Minimum level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Light Vehicle) or City & Guilds equivalent.
- Comfortable and confident on phone & computer
- Competent level of excel
- Minimum of 3 years workshop experience
- History of using 1link & other industry systems (Desired not essential)
- Full UK Driving License. (Desired not essential).
