**Lead Speech & Language Therapist**

Enable Trust is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to lead and develop our new trust wide Speech and Language Therapy team.

Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a passion and commitment for making a difference to and improving outcomes of children with SEND.

This is an exciting and innovative time for Enable Trust, as we seek to grow our specialist multi-academy trust of two special schools in South Gloucestershire with a third, Two Bridges opening in September 2024.

**The role will be**:

- 35hrs hours per week, worked Monday - Friday
- Actual salary £35,406-£37,874 (pay award pending)
- Term time only and 5 inset days
- Professional, hardworking, resilient, and adaptable.
- Someone who can work with high levels of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Able to lead a team confidently and plan with agility and a long-term perspective.
- Able to manage their own case load in addition to leading the team.
- A degree/Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy.
- Significant experience providing Speech and Language therapies and interventions to pupils in a specialist school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to work calmly under pressure, often dealing with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- An adaptable and flexible approach in developing the team and Speech and Language provision across the trust.
