This is a fantastic opportunity to join our high profile, well-respected and friendly Early Intervention, Prevention and Community Support unit in the role of a Local Area Coordinator working to meet the needs of a changing and ambitious council and supporting Adults Services on its continuous improvement journey. This is an exciting time to join the organisation, as the Council resets its priorities following the pandemic, and the team is strengthened.

This is an exciting opportunity to help us develop this way of working, be at the forefront of transformation and service reform and to empower people’s choice and embrace the community.

Ideally you will:

- Need experience of working alongside individuals who experience complex and multiple disadvantages or challenges and have a background in or deep understanding of strengths-based working and community capacity building.
- Have experience of promoting social justice and self-determination and be able to support people to build personal resilience
- Be a creative thinker who can work in innovative ways, and you must be committed to the principles of co-production
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or have experience of working in a similar role at a similar level.

If you think that you have the necessary experience and qualifications for this role, we would love to hear from you.

For an informal discussion, please contact Kate Kinsman
