Children's Residential Support Care Worker

**With overtime and additional sleep-ins, our ACPs can expect to earn OTE in the region of £30,200 and our CPs £32,840** (pro rata for part time) - all staff receive a guaranteed competitive salary of £25,500 - £27,750* (pro rata for part time) dependent on qualifications**
Our new home will be 3 bedded Children’s Home which will provide 3 residential placements for children between the ages of 7 to 17.

**Our Homes and our children**
Our homes are for three or four children aged 7 - 17 who may have learning disabilities and/or Autism and/or challenging behaviours. We focus on building a supportive and caring staff team to work following a holistic attachment focused approach.
Our children are incredible and will definitely keep you on your toes with no two days the same. Although it can be challenging at times, it can also be the most fun and rewarding job you will ever have A sense of humour is a must
Our children are with us for a variety of reasons and many will have experienced traumatic life events. They need empathy, care, love, play and stability to help them flourish and move onto the next stage of their life, whether that is going home, independence, supported living, university or another placement. _Can you help us to achieve all of this and more?_

You will spend a great deal of time with our young people keeping them occupied and engaged, gaming with them, being creative, going on day trips and holidays in the summer to name but a few activities. We try to give our children the opportunity to develop confidence and life-skills through new experiences whilst supporting them emotionally and helping them to progress.
To help you and our children we have a respected clinical psychologist who provides individual and team support to our home. We also provide training for all staff which includes mandatory and specialist courses (both internal and external). We provide excellent career development and progression opportunities. If you don’t already have a residential level 3 qualification or equivalent then we will register you for this and a level 4 in your first month, meaning quicker promotion is available.
We have also invested significantly in a bespoke individualised recording system to help ensure you are free to spend as much time as possible with our children. This also ensures that information is easily accessible and at your fingertips when needed.

This is a role including shift work, so you must be able to work weekends, evenings and sleep ins.
- This is made up of base salary plus 60 contracted sleep-ins per annum (pro-rated to 5 per month).
**On **average **our employees complete 78 sleep-ins and 310 overtime hours per year. In reality, you may do more or less than the average and this will therefore impact your OTE.
