Our client is seeking a talented Life Skills Support Worker to join their growing team.

Established over 12 years ago, the company specialises in offering an individual and personal approach day service to supporting adults with learning difficulties within the community. As a Life Skills Support Worker, you will be key into mentoring and developing life skills for these adults.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities
- Plan and deliver, life skills activities, in small groups sessions, which meet the agreed objectives and personalised life skills needs of the clients.
- Monitor and document individual progress and behavior
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with disabilities
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
