Job Description What you'll do                                            We have a brand new opportunity for a support worker to assist a gentleman who has a spinal cord injury and an acquired brain injury.
You will be there to care for and to maintain the client's safety and support with all activities of daily living.  He is quite sociable.
He likes to be accompanied to the local gym, one of many various social activities that he likes to do in his community.
This helps him with his meal preparation and allows him to interact with his family members.  This is a busy and rewarding role that requires someone to be adaptable to any situation, self-motivated, compassionate, kind, reliable, and resilient.          Qualifications What you'll need                                         You don't need any social care experience to apply for this role.
We're more interested in your compassion and ability to care.
A willingness to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team as well as the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.      A background in spinal injuries, ABI and administering medication would be advantageous and desirable.         Additional Information Why choose us?
