Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities team in Guildford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children with disabilities and their families.

Our Children with Disabilities service is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to children with disabilities and their families. We believe in working collaboratively with our colleagues, families, and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children.

Your Role

You will work closely with children, young people, and their families to understand their needs and develop tailored support plans. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other agencies and professionals to ensure that children receive the necessary support and services.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is £40,929 - £43,735 per annum, plus a financial package of up to £6,000 payable in 3 instalments across your first 18 months in post. Additionally, you will receive 28 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5 years' service) plus bank holidays, option to buy up to 10 days of additional annual leave, and an extensive Employee Assistance Programme.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the needs of children with disabilities and their families. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
