Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking for your next role in the motor trade? Michael Key MOT, Service, and Repairs based in the Nottingham area has a long-served reputation for delivering quality, taking steps to ensure they are looking after the customer, and are dedicated to getting 5* customer reviews to reflect their hard work.

Your role will be to assist the customer, make sure that they are well informed, and catered for. You will compliment this with booking the right jobs to the right technician. They do not “squeeze in” customers, they focus on running a smooth operation, and seeking a new Sales and Service Advisor to lead this.

The role is paying between £30,000 to £36,000 per annum depending on the level of experience, working 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday.

**What Does The Job Involve**:

- Sending detailed and timely estimates to customers, communicating information from technicians to customers and making appropriate advisories.
- Selling work to customers that’s required to keep their car safe for twelve months, while encouraging customers to act now to prevent breakdowns and avoid increased bills due to inflation.
- Taking notes of the full customer journey using the IT software.
- Forward planning, workshop diary organising and managing stock.
- Introducing procedures that will improve processes, attending training and continuing professional development.
- Advising customers on safety, quality and customer-centred.

**What Are They Looking For**:

- Previous experience working as a Service Advisor or Technician will be essential.
- Friendly and personable customer service approach, with a passion to maintain and exceed company performance and reputation.
- Eager to continue professional development and undertaking training.
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Stock management/supplier liaison experience and strong coordination skills.
- Good working understanding of technical motor maintenance process and customer management.
