**Role Category - the way you'll work**:
- This role has been categorised as a _**_hub-based_**_ role. This means that you’ll be based at a Thirteen site, primarily because you’re dealing with customers in-person or because you need access to key equipment. You probably won’t travel around the area for work very much and it’s unlikely that you’ll be expected or able to work from home._
**The Role**:
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service?
If so, we have a permanent vacancy for a Building Support Operative working mobile across the care and support schemes.
In this role you will be joining an existing team that is in the process of moving to a mobile operational model.
The dispersed team will deliver a high performing and customer driven service, that will improve sustainability, protects our assets, and enables customers to feel safe and supported within their supported living environment.
**The Person**:
You will work closely with the Building Support Services team and Supervisor to carry out a range of duties including building inspections, fire safety checks including attendance at fire alarm activations and responding to emergency requests, reporting of repairs and waste management duties.
It is imperative that all duties are undertaken in a timely professional manner and recorded to meet our legislative and service standards.
We are looking for someone who can listen carefully, take direction and provide resolutions to operational issues; equally we want someone who will share our ambition to think and work differently.
Your communication skills will need to be particularly effective as you will be interacting daily with customers alongside a wide range of internal colleagues, as well as third party stakeholders.
