**Mailroom Operative**

We are seeking a Mailroom Operative ideally with previous experience within a large regulated environment to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 6 months contract.

**Business Overview**

Document & Business Solutions (DBS) is the company’s primary office-based services provider for the firm, globally, operating across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and NAMR in more than 50 cities. DBS is responsible for providing vital products and services, including but not limited to, creative & design, document creation/print/copy, mail distribution, messenger, courier, and fulfillment scanning and archiving. Additionally, DBS manages a suite of products, including, SmartPrint (floor printers), mail digitization and DBS’s online service platform.

As a Mailroom Operative, you will be expected to serve in a production capacity. Additionally, you may be required to work in any of the production locations/environments to meet the needs of the customer/company in delivering products and services while meeting established SLAs, quality, and productivity standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process day-to-day customer mail deliveries
- Process incoming and outgoing courier deliveries
- Record all incoming, outgoing and collected items in Track & Receive using PacTrack mailroom logs
- Communicate to customers when items are available for collection
- Housekeeping duties within print room, mail room and stock holding area
- Managing the loading bay
- X-Ray scan all incoming items of mail and initiate security procedures where appropriate
- Booking International couriers through DHL and local courier services via e-courier platform
- Scanning and digitization of mail which is in-scope
- Print stock management, replenishment, pack and distribution which involves lifting and use of trolleys / cages
- Some print experience
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing work.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be required to alternate between multiple locations within job location state/country to provide coverage as needed as well as variation of work hours to conform to needed coverage.

**Necessary Skills & Experience**
- Good customer service skills, attentiveness, able to interact positively and pleasantly.
- Ability to follow directions, show initiative, work and perform duties under mínimal supervision, and follow through on tasks.
- Self-motivated with proven ability to learn and to seek and participate in cross training opportunities and willingness to utilize downtime to learn new skills.
- Able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Detail and deadline oriented with strong emphasis on safeguarding all personal and confidential information.
- Basic understanding of risk and control for the activities responsible.
- Be aware of and maintain safe working practices related to H&S.
- Able to resolve problems and with the ability to recommend process improvements.
- Must be comfortable with and have a solid understanding of basic business technology.
- Good oral and written communication skills.

**Please note that this role is full time office based.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £150.00-£180.00 per day
