We are looking for a project researcher who will be responsible for coordination across all phases of the SEISMIC (Systems Engineering Innovation hub for Multiple long-term Conditions) project. They will collect information to identify critical issues for people with multiple long term conditions (MLTCs), map out how these people interact with the services and using co-design with patients and stakeholders, contribute to the preparation for a major Innovation Hub.

**The Opportunity**:
The post holder will work within the Advanced Care Research Centre (ACRC). The ACRC is a £20 million programme led by University of Edinburgh and funded by Legal and General, to research and develop innovative solutions for the care of people in later life, contributing to tackling the global challenge of promoting and maintaining ‘healthy ageing’. Central to the ACRC approach is a commitment to working in partnership with people in later life, their families and communities, and to creating a sustainable UK wide collaboration and engagement with public, private and third sector organisations to ensure impact of the research.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- A PhD in experience of health services research or systems engineering or extensive equivalent experience
- Experience in qualitative methods for data collection and/or experience of working with public contributors (e.g., in relation to research design, conduct, interpretation and dissemination)
- Knowledge and/or experience of the social care sector, multiple long-term conditions or care transitions
- Project management experience within a multi-disciplinary setting.
