Technology Change Manger
A UK's leading integrated wealth management and professional services group, is looking for a Technology Change Manger. The change manager role will suit a dynamic individual with the skills, knowledge and attributes to work flexibly and autonomously withina fast moving and changing environment. The main purpose of the role is to provide a central change management authority and governance for the Change Portfolio and other change initiatives or projects resulting in business change, create an enterprise approachfor the firm on preparing for and managing business change by working with various business stakeholders including adoption leads and business change managers. Supporting the IT Service Delivery Manager and Head of Technology in developing and achieving theirIT strategy.
**As Technology Change Manager, some of your responsibilities will include**:
- Developing change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
- Evaluating the impact of planned organisational change.
- Identifying risks and developing risk mitigation tactics.
- Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change.
- Leading change management work streams with a structured methodology / process.
- Supporting development of communications relevant to change initiatives.
- Providing coaching and training to employees at all levels.
- Defining success metrics and measuring performance against these.
- Providing reporting and other updates to management and project teams.
- Supporting audit and compliance requests as required
- Interact and engage in continuous improvement of the services provided by the DTS change management
- Hosting Change Advisory Board meetings and arranging and hosting emergency change advisory board where required
**Change Management**
- Act as process owner for the IT Change management process, overseeing its execution day to day by DTS Service Analysts
- Act as SME for the IT Change Management process and be responsible for ensuring audit compliance activities and continuous service improvement and stakeholder engagement
- Establishing a key core of representation for change and emergency change advisory board meetings
- Hosting Change Advisory Board meetings and arranging and hosting emergency change advisory board where required
- Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to embed DTS change management strategy, including process and tools to support adoption of the changes being delivered by a project or initiative
- Supporting the design, development, delivery and management of joined up communications, and working with the internal Comms team to maintain a central view of change and time line for when various projects and initiatives are impacting stakeholders
- Supporting project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans with measurable critical success factors for the adoption of change
- Championing and acting as a coach for change requests and project leaders in helping them fulfil the role of change requestors.
- Able to handle multiple priorities, working to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Have significant experience of managing business-facing change in a complex matrix organization
- Working with peers across change delivery to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the department, whether it be via implementation of new ways of working or leveraging existing successful solutions or processes
- Being accountable for creating a roadmap for the change management model to support ongoing change and provide continuous improvement.
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to influence
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
