We are seeking a high calibre individual to join our busy team, where you will be responsible for the commissioning and ongoing contract management of 16+ Supported Living Accommodation Services.

**About the role**:
This role has a particular focus on collaboratively developing and implementing change across the partnership to improve outcomes for Buckinghamshire’s Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC). As a valued member of the team, you will be using your project management, commissioning and engagement knowledge or experience to:

- Provide project support for all commissioning activities.
- Contract manage 16+ Supported Living UASC services.
- Support the co-designing, co-producing and engagement activities to develop provisions, supporting providers to meet the new DfE Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards (March 23)
- Work with Social Workers and other professionals to keep our UASC, Children & Young People safe.
- Analyse multiple data sources, summarise key points and effectively present information to a high standard either in a written or verbal format.

As a valued member of the team this role will provide you with the opportunity to further develop your transformation, commissioning and project management skills within a supportive and friendly team environment. This role will work closely with Social Workers and other 16+ Supported Living Accommodation Officers within the team.

**About you**:
You will have an understanding of Children's Social Care and have the following skills and experience:

- Knowledge of current relevant legislation, statutory duties, responsibilities, and best practice in commissioning children’s social care services.
- Knowledge of the commissioning cycle, which includes procurement and performance management and ability to analyse if the service is value for money and delivers on quality.
- Able to analyse financial and performance reports to inform the selection of appropriate commissioning and procurement options.
- Able to write high quality clear and concise reports, contracts, agreements and specifications, to a varied range of audiences including stakeholders, elected members, Chief Officers, clients, and partner organisations.
- Be able to develop relationships and networks to work effectively to implement change.
- You must be accustomed to working with partners in complex environments.
- Experience of working in a commissioning or contract management environment is desirable.
- Experience of successfully supporting a project from start to finish.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with the ability to use own initiative to independently devise, develop and implement beneficial changes.
- Flexibility to meet competing demands with positive outcomes.
- Has the ability to analyse multiple data sources, summarise and effectively present this information through strong written and oral communication interpersonal skills, including facilitation and presentation skills.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
