It is a non-profit charity organisation and all profits are re-invested to further our priorities: the safety, happiness, well-being and development of our children. We are run by a Management Committee made up of elected parents and staff.

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced administrator to take on various general and financial administrative tasks to support our lovely Pre-school. The role is home based but occasional travel to Escrick may be required for meetings.
- Coordination of childcare funding claims, including council submission, liaison with parents, inputting to QuickBooks.
- Coordination of half-termly invoicing, including creating and sending invoices, chasing missed payments and adding details to QuickBooks.
- Manage nursery milk and fruit orders.
- Liaison with accountant to produce annual accounts audit.
- Liaison with monthly payroll services.
- Work with Pre-school manager and committee to set the annual budget.
- Be the administrative point of contact for the Pre-school.

Skills and experience
- Proven administrative experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate in a polite and professional manner.
- Experience of using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Experience of using Microsoft, Google Docs or similar office software.
- Ability to work within existing systems and processes, while also taking initiative where appropriate.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 3 per week
