Finance Assistant

An excellent opportunity to join a business based on the outskirts Malton as a Finance Administrator. Salary is up to £25,000 (depending on experience) alongside an extensive benefits package with generous holidays, pension contribution and further.
The successful individual will assist and work within the Finance Team and will be supporting the Finance Assistant with the transactional responsibilities and admin.
Key responsibilities for the successful Finance Administrator will include:
- Assist with Purchase Ledger duties
- Assist with VAT returns
- Posting bank payments and receipts
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Deal with company credit card statements
- Assist with year-end audit
- Credit Control and debt management
- Assist with the management of daily/weekly/monthly cash flow
- Other ad hoc reports and projects, as required
We are keen to speak with individuals who have previous experience in a similar finance role, you may currently be an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant or Finance Officer looking for your next challenge.
To be successful in this Finance Administrator role you will ideally have:
- Accountancy software skills such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks
- Previous experience in a similar, finance and admin based role
- Experience working autonomously and be able to manage own workload
This role is easily commutable from Malton, York, Pickering or surrounding areas.
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
