We're looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to work for our client, Europe's leading vending, coffee and refreshment provider. You would join their Finance Team, based out of the company's Hemel Hempstead Head Office.
This is a full-time permanent role offering salary circa £24,000. You will need previous experience working as part of a fast-paced purchase ledger / accounts payable function, able to handle large volumes of data with excellent analytical and problem-solvingskills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, numerate and well organised individual to join a well-established international business.
**The Role**
You would join a centralised Finance team and would take responsibility for ensuring all invoices are matched and coded correctly, with appropriate authorization from relevant Managers, and effectively managing the suppliers returns process.
Key tasks will include
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing / 3 way matching of purchase invoices within SLAs
- Manage and escalate pricing disputes to appropriate business team members
- Supplier statement reconciliations in line with Departmental requirements, with resolution of variances.
- Maintenance of records for all overhead invoices, relevant approvals, and weekly invoice batching
