We are looking for an ambitious individual to join us as a Data Administration Apprentice to work across multiple teams within the business. These teams include; customer service, translation, accounts and recruitment. Working within a close-knit organisation,you will have the opportunity to develop the role and make it your own as you grow within the business.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Researching, collating and reporting information
- Fulfilling new client requirements and managing general queries
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications within our database
- Understanding and delivering the service objectives in line with KPIs
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment of linguists
- Maintaining and implementing processes that ensure regulatory compliance, consistency, and accuracy
- Assisting in managing a range of new translation projects from initial enquiry to project delivery
- Providing clients with project status updates
- Assisting the Finance Manager with client invoicing and sub-contractor payments
- Preparing monthly contractor statements and process invoices
- Validating timesheets
- Assisting with any enquiries from our sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients

**You will need the following skills**:

- Able to work in a fast-paced, customer service environment
- Outstanding customer service manner
- Excellent phone manner
- Attention to detail
- Be extremely efficient, organised
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade others
- Be a finisher and do whatever it takes to complete a task
- Willingness to learn
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Adaptive, flexible, and comfortable working at pace
- Have the ability to build and maintain relationships in a professional manner
- Be a team player but with the ability to work under own initiative to deliver to deadline

**Salary**:
The staring annual salary will be set between £14,000 - £16,000, depending on knowledge and experience.

**Entry requirements**:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Working hours**:
The core working hours are 40 per week, between the hours of 8am - 5pm.

**Future prospects**:
There is the opportunity to gain full-time employment upon completion, for the right person.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
