We are looking for applicants that have experience in evidence based therapeutic interventions, assessing and managing clinical risk, and with a willingness to complete further training and development.

The Children and Young People's West Cheshire Mental Health Team consists of experienced clinicians from a variety of professional disciplines with experience of providing therapeutic input, managing risk/complexity and multi-agency working.

We offer a range of services, such as assessment, therapy, family work, group work, consultation and training.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:
A recognised qualification in a relevant discipline, such as nursing, social work and allied health professionals.

Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties in a clinical setting

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills

A commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning

**You will have**:
- A high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality, community based mental health services to children, young people, and their families

Experience in undertaking mental health assessments and providing interventions & formulations to address the needs of the client group

Experience of working with children and young people who, due to their mental and emotional health needs, present with a level of clinical risk

Experience of working under pressure and in a demanding, fast paced environment

To have the skill to adapt and the flexibility to think on your feet due to the nature of your role

Access to transport or have the ability to travel to a variety of venues as part of the working day
