Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Specialist. This role will involve working with children, young people, and families in crisis, providing mental health assessment and interventions.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our developing Children and Young People's (CYP) Emergency and Urgent care provision. The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis intervention and assessment services to children, young people, and families in a range of settings.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide mental health assessments and interventions to children, young people, and families in crisis
- To work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and outcomes
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have recently qualified in a core profession (Social Care, Nursing, Allied Health Professional, Teaching and Clinical Psychologists) or a recognized degree level broad-based health & social care qualification which will require completion of The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Knowledge Skills and Attributes. They must also have relevant postgraduate diploma or equivalent evidence of ongoing post-registration development and professional registration with a recognized National Body.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £34,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a relocation package of up to £8,000 to support those who need to relocate to take up this opportunity.
