**ABOUT L'ARCHE Highland**

L’Arche Highland is a Community of around 132 people, including folk with and without learning disabilities, Support Assistants, volunteers, friends and neighbours, based in Inverness. We are part of a global network of communities where people with and without learning disabilities live and share in life together, working for a world where we all belong. We have a workshop and four large shared houses. We also support people to live in their own properties.

We provide supported living opportunities in one of our four shared houses, keeping that original community spirit, or to folk in their own homes, depending upon preference and need. This support ranges from 24/7 one-to-one support to 40 hours per week. You will lead a small supportive team of 4 Support and Care Leaders, and 8 Deputes, working across various locations in Inverness

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reports to: Business Administrator

Hours of work: Part-time**:22.5 hours, working flexibly depending on the needs of the community, with occasional evening and weekend commitments locally, and some requiring travel

**Salary**: £13,045.50 (FTE £21,742.50)

Place of work: L’Arche Highland office, and in each service location in and around Inverness

Main purpose of the role:
The Administrative Assistant role sits within the office of the community, liaising efficiently between HR, Administration, and Finance responsibilities as well as providing adequate assistance as required.

**You will**:

- Be the point person for all enquiries for the office, answering phone calls and assisting with producing, filing and managing paperwork for a range of processes;
- Assist with maintaining electronic databases for service users and staff;
- Maintain the weekly petty cash and other financial recording;
- Assist in maintaining properties;
- Assist in the welcoming of new staff including from overseas;
- Maintain an adequate stock of stationary and other office equipment;
- Participate in community events;
- Attend training and formation as applicable to the role;
- Other duties and projects as required;
