Sureserve Fire and Electrical, part of the Sureserve Group, are a specialist in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire safety and security systems. Delivering fire compliance services, which cover all the physical infrastructure and fire safety materials required for a building to respond to the outbreak of fire.
We are currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based at our office in Horsham.
**Overview**:
The Contract Administrator role covers a range of administration duties including taking customer phone calls and responding to their inquiries and assisting them as needed, all while remaining polite and professional.
You will be representing the company to our clients and therefore you will need excellent customer service to support our clients and engineers in the field. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with people, helping to solve problems, and communicating with others.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all open jobs are checked daily - either sent for invoicing or further works actioned.
- Upon engineers completing their job sheets carry out checks to ensure they can be sent for invoicing.
- Receive and respond to clients and residents’ queries.
- Log any callouts and repairs.
- Manually creating of any service jobs and updating the data management team of asset changes.
- Liaising with the Scheduling team for rescheduling jobs on booked appointments.
- Provide updates on jobs to clients.
- Creating purchase orders for sub-contractors.
- Have a sound understanding and appreciation of the works being carried out and able to translate this simply and effectively whilst talking to both internal and external customers.
- Input and maintain data on the management system.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
- Previous office administration experience gained within a fast paced environment
- Understanding of basic principles of Office Practice
- Provide excellent customer service and the ability to build relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, both in person and over the telephone
- A willingness to learn our products and services to provide a high level of customer service
- A good understanding and proven demonstrable experience of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
