Finance Administration Support

Start date ASAP

Temporary 12 week contract - 17.5hr week working Monday - Friday

Blue Arrow is looking for a Finance Administrator for one of our clients based in Glasgow City Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Prepare bank reconciliations, to include file import/export from online banking and matching transactions within the financial system for the University and its subsidiaries
- Allocation and processing of daily income transactions into finance system
- Update FX rates within the finance system
- Prepare and post treasury journals and adjustments
- Confirm BACS and runs within finance system
- Generate and upload BACS and FX payment files for transfer to the bank and the online banking platform
- Prepare and review control account reconciliations, ensuring aged items are investigated and resolved
- Manage Treasury mailbox, responding to queries, ensuring that a professional, customer focused, prompt response is always delivered
- Proactively liaise with a wide range of stakeholders both within and outside of the University including other University departments and campuses, and external funding bodies
- Take a proactive approach to continually reviewing and suggesting change where appropriate to processes, documentation and templates, to ensure they remain fit for purpose and comply with legislation and good practice
- Any other tasks appropriate to the post and in line with Treasury requirements
