You will be working with an experienced visionary team to support and maintain the Data Quality Programme for the Trust. Supporting management and monitoring staff when undertaking the validation and audit of patient information. Delivering and supporting a quality service within a pressured environment.

We support the improvement, development and timely capture of sound and accurate data across the Trust. It can feel quite frustrating and repetitive at times; but we take personal responsibility for the quality of service provided and continually strive for service improvements.

You won’t be alone; we have a great team ethos and spirit, all supporting each other and working together to achieve the best outcomes - even though now some of our meetings are virtual as we work from home too. - Support the awareness of the Data Quality/Information Programme.
- Support the implementation and further development of the data quality agenda.
- Assist in the collection of data for audit purposes and support management teams to identify areas that require pathway improvements.
- Assist in scheduled and ad-hoc audits of processes of work, highlighting areas where data quality is compromised - identifying training/development needs as appropriate.
- Support review and redesign working practices, ensuring that written policies and procedures are available across all sites/locations where patient activity takes place and where data items are collected or managed.
- Promote within the Data Quality Assurance function an honest and open culture that encourages the use of initiative, individual and team responsibility
- Be committed to the continuous improvement of Data Quality, taking personal responsibility for the quality of service provided and to contribute towards and support service improvements.
- Assist with improvements and developments in the timely capture of sound and accurate data across the Trust.
- Support maintaining adherence to Information Governance requirements and standards.
- Support effective audit of patient pathway - ensuring data items are checked / recorded within agreed timescales.
- Interrogate patient records and data to ensure accuracy and updating Trust systems to reflect any updated information.
- Undertake the validation of exception and associated reports, ensuring missing data items are obtained and data errors corrected.
