As a Healthcare Assistant in theatre at our Woking Hospital, you’ll be highly motivated and enjoy working somewhere that’s constantly and rapidly changing. You’ll show real empathy and find the challenges of theatre work fascinating. As well as great communication skills, you’ll bring a flexible approach to both your duties and hours.

And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better.

**As a Healthcare Assistant in theatre, you will**:

- Create a great experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries

Our Woking Hospital is a leading private hospital in Surrey, South East England. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional standards of treatment and care in our state-of-the-art facilities and CPD programme. Our specialities include Women’s and Men’s health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.

Overtime

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
