**Is this role right for me?**

**This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of 1 day a week in our office in Manchester. Monthly travel to our International Timber sites across the UK will also be required, therefore a Driving Licence will be essential to the role.**

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. For this role we are looking for someone with the following skills
- Experience working in the Timber Industry would be very advantageous to the role
- Purchasing or inventory management experience
- Maths and English GCSE or relevant experience
- Excel experience or qualifications
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- CIPS qualifications would also be beneficial

**What will I be doing in the role?**
- Provide a range of data and reports to Purchasing Managers
- Facilitate forecasts creation with coordinated sales contribution
- Maintain appropriate stock levels to the site's capacities and sales demand
- Analyse and support adequate stock distribution, and balance between different storage locations
- Respond to and fulfil ad-hoc sales requirements
- Analyse new products performance
- Monitor stock availability KPIs in all stock locations
- Ensure that business controls and procedures are met in line with company's policy
- Ensure safe working practices whilst conforming to company and legislative Health & Safety Standards & Responsibilities
- Any other tasks as directed by the National Inventory Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the business, maximum efficiency, and customer satisfaction
