**Job Description**:
Are you looking to kick-start your career in Procurement? We’re looking to bring someone in who wants to build their experience and grow with our European direct procurement team.

If you’re based in the Manchester area, we offer hybrid working and is your chance to join a sustainably focused supply chain business thats in the top companies to work for

You’ll be responsible for procurement for a couple of our business units within the Brambles group with a total spend $50m. You’ll ensure our orders are going through correctly and build your experience with our ways of working and systems.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the supplier and product database
- Facilitate the workflow for Procure to Pay.
- Ensure purchase orders are raised within SLA
- Support to the teams to ensure that the correct consumables are ordered
- Expedite purchase orders when necessary to ensure timely deliveries and to make relevant personnel aware of problems at the earliest opportunity
- Co-ordinate with suppliers, shipping agents and EU customs to ensure imported goods incur no penalties.
- Co-ordinate goods receipt notifications directly with receiving location.
- Manage the query resolution process relating to supplier deliveries to enable invoice anomalies to be reconciled
- Engage with preferred suppliers to ensure key product specifications are met and product lead times are achievable

What you’ll need;
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills.
- Ideally an interest in Logistics and Supply Chain
- It would be beneficial to speak a European language, (not required).
