Stakeholder Engagement Co-ordinator

**Your role at Orbit.**
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Keep up to date local information, stakeholder contact and bios for relevant MP's, Local Authority partners and other key individuals
- Draft and keep up to date standard Local Authority briefing packs and produce others on requests
- Co-ordinate our responses to MP's and other strategic stakeholder communications. Maintain a letters log for searchability
- Co-ordinate Local Authority communications where we are doing stock swaps, sales or a merger
- Manage the schedule of meetings so that we know who is facilitating and attending, providing tailored briefings as necessary
- Set up and co-ordinate quarterly meetings with internal regional leads for placemaking, homes and property management
- Maintain an up to date external affairs planning grid including items such as key local election dates, partnership funding opportunities etc
- Maintain the consultation logs for the team and support the production of our consultation responses
- Arrange and act as secretariat to internal working groups on various policy and campaign topics.
**What will help you make a difference.**
To be successful in this role of Stakeholder Engagement Co-ordinator you will need to be a self-starter who is a calm, confident people person. You will need to have excellent organisational, planning and communication skills with a proven ability to build excellent and long standing relationships with personal credibility.
It is also essential that you have:
- Excellent attention to detail and written skills
- Ability to work in a range of locations including home, office and attending meetings and events off site
- Experience of co-ordinating a range of stakeholder activities and delivering competing priorities to tight deadlines
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience
It would be beneficial if you had experience working in Housing or another customer faced environment.
