Job title: Foundry Moulder/Operative

Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 7am to 3:30pm, Friday 7am to 2:15pm

33 days holiday per annum will be given which is inclusive of company shutdowns and floating holidays.

4 weekly production bonus paid after 3 month probation period, giving potential earnings of £26k per annum.

Daily duties will include:

- Operate sand mixer within our small/track section of the foundry to ram up boxed/framed/loose patterns with furan chemically bonded sand.
- Ensuring required feeders/risers and lifting hooks are correctly positioned within the patterns.
- Strip sand moulds carefully out with as little breakage/damage as possible ready for closing.
- Working at a fast and efficient pace to keep up with the required workload.
- Maintaining and cleaning sand mixer on a weekly basis to obtain full efficiency, whilst keeping a clean and tidy working area at all times.
- Completing production job cards at the end of every working day to log all work completed.

Desirable Skills:

- Previous experience of working within a foundry environment would be advantageous.
- Self-motivated.
- Punctual with a good work ethic.
- Being organised to maximise efficiency.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Physically fit due to this job role being physically demanding at times.

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
