Job title: Fettler/Foundry Operative

Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 7am to 3:30pm, Friday 7am to 2:15pm

33 days holiday per annum will be given which is inclusive of company shutdowns and floating holidays.

4 weekly production bonus paid after 3 month probation period, giving potential earnings of £25k per annum.

Daily duties will include:

- Grinding, Cutting and deburring iron castings to remove any rough edges, burrs, or surface imperfections.
- Use of various different power tools e.g. 9" & 5" Angle grinders, die grinders.
- Ensuring that all finished components are to a high standard on completion.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all necessary times.
- Maintain cleanliness of area.
- Use of overhead cranes to lift heavy castings that can't be lifted by hand.
- Use of the shotblast to clean excess sand off castings ready to fettle.

Desirable Skills:

- Punctual with a good work ethic.
- Physically fit and able to lift weights of up to 25kg.
- Previous experience at Fettling itself would be advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to learn new skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
