We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulder to join our client in Huddersfield, specialising in plastic components for the automotive industry. As an Injection Moulder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of injection moulding machines, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting production targets. This position requires in-depth knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, expertise in setting up and troubleshooting moulding equipment.

**Responsibilities as an Injection Moulder**:
- Set up, monitor, and optimise injection moulding machines for the production of plastic components used in the automotive industry.
- Conduct tool changes, mould installations, and equipment adjustments according to production requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proper mould design, tooling modifications, and process improvements.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on moulding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, moulding process, and product quality.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished parts to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and any adjustments made during the moulding process.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
**Requirements for an Injection Moulder**:
- Proven experience as an Injection Mould Setter, preferably in the automotive industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, including machine setup, tooling, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and quality requirements for plastic components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and moulding instructions.
- Ability to perform tool changes, mould installations, and equipment adjustments with precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve moulding-related issues.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production targets.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
