Bidding Lead

We are looking for a Bidding Lead to join the team to support 4OC in securing new business opportunities, primarily through the identification of compelling and competitive tenders. You will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to bid submission, and driving continuous improvement through lessons-learned activities.
As part of our Business Development team, you will work closely with our senior leadership, delivery consultants and our partner organisations to develop tenders that meet client needs and differentiate our firm from competitors. **_ Essential Criteria_**
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple bidding opportunities simultaneously
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Deep analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess information and develop recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in driving successful tenders is preferred

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
A lot of our work at 4OC involves the detailed examination of how a particular service or process is being delivered and trying to design a better way of doing things for the client.
We are looking for someone who can work within our Business Development team to drive bidding operations and to help steward successful tenders that position 4OC as a Thought Leader in the field of public service delivery, driving major partnerships and sales.
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Steward the entire bid process including opportunity identification, bid/no-bid qualifications, proposal development, submission and post-submission activities
- Support the development of proposal win strategies and themes that align with the clients' objectives and 4OC's strengths and differentiators
- Ensure our internal governance processes are adhered to, including bid/no-bid solutioning and commercial approvals, and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the bid process
- Maintain our internal bid manual and processes and our library of reusable proposal content, graphics and diagrams, case studies and templates - ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate and relevant, to make bid submissions so much easier
- Ensure that proposals are compliant with client requirements and that they are submitted on time and in the right format
