**£19,000 per annum + shift allowance (up to £1,800 per annum)**
**Monday - Friday, shifts between 8am - 8pm (37.5 hours per week)
2x Saturdays per month, 9am-5pm with a day off in lieu**
**Colchester, Essex**

My client, a successful, well-established insurance company based in Colchester is looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
**Duties**:
- Answer incoming calls, directing callers to appropriate people and resolving questions and issues.
- Manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment.
- Accurately validate new claims and input and update client details on various computer systems.
- Direct customers to relevant departments calmly and professionally.
- Understand and embrace the concept of "excellent customer service"
- Other duties may be assigned to meet the on-going needs of the organisation.
**Key Skills**:
- Grades A*-C or equivalent in Maths and English
- A polite, positive, and professional telephone manner is essential
- Experience of using all Microsoft Office programs
- Strong spelling, grammar, data entry and typing skills
- Can do attitude in a dynamic business
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working within a telephone-based customer service/contact centre environment is desirable
- Knowledge of Legal Expenses is desirable
