We are partnered with a multinational Pharmaceutical giant, and they are looking for 2 x HR Global Payroll Advisors to join their team for an exciting contract they have just released.

Role - HR Global Payroll Advisor x 2

Start - ASAP

End - 31st March 2024

Rate - £38k (prorated salary)

Location - Remote with occasional attendance in office when required (Addlestone)
- The Global HR Payroll Advisor is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality and consistent operational execution of services whilst providing a highly positive employee experience
- The Global HR Payroll Advisor will play a pivotal role as Astellas continues to grow and expand into new markets and will be responsible for Global payroll in 50+ countries
- The role will report to the Global HR Payroll Lead and will work closely with the HR Operations team, across the broader HR function and directly with the business

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Accountable for the timely and accurate processing of payrolls
- Accountable for monitoring and managing issues, escalating as necessary
- Accountable for reviewing and processing of annual tax
- Accountable for the auditing of bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls
- Accountable for managing and working with third party providers to ensure timely and accurate payrolls and timely and accurate communications are being delivered to stakeholders

**Key Deliverables**:

- Delivery of Exceptional HR Global Payroll Operation Provision
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of global payrolls by working with third party vendors (in line with agreed service level agreements and internal performance measures)
- Ability to transform payroll files from third-party vendors into the global template in Excel
- Work closely with peers and HR global Service Delivery and Global Payroll Team Lead to escalate and raise risks and themes that may need to be discussed or remedied at a Leadership level
- Leverage policies and contracts of employment provided by Legal to ensure timely and accurate Global payrolls
- Work with third party providers to ensure that all HR and employee questions are dealt with in line with the agreed SLA’s and drive a highly positive experience for all HR customers
- Use a best of bread systems to ensuring that data is recorded accurately and pay queries are resolved in a timely manner
- Work closely with the Reward Centre of Excellence to support annual Reward administrative activities
- Work with internal and external J-Sox compliance team. Understand and follow strictly all J-Sox policy to ensure 100% compliance during audits
- Diversified payroll systems experience and strong knowledge of system controls. High level understanding of HR systems and how they interface. Strong knowledge of HR data management processes and reporting
- Plan and manage global payroll auditing and calendar management. Identify, document and communicate key responsibilities and practices. Provide direction and leadership to internal support team and third-party vendors

**Experience**:

- The ability to develop a truly customer centric environment is important as well as experience in high quality operational HR processes that support our business
- Experience of working with an outsourced and in-house HR Service Delivery model is preferable.
- SAP, Alight, and Conduent experience is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of project management and maintaining governance
- Financial acumen
- Expertise in MS Office (especially Excel, Access)
- Proven ability to influence diverse senior stakeholders
- Fluent in written and verbal business English
- Ability to cope within a fast paced, growing and changing environment
- Strong change management skills
- Able to manage high volumes of work and prioritise effectively
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility
- Collaborative style with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and act accordingly
- Knowledge of Continuous improvement methodology
