**Role Description**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Receptionist/Team Assistant to join our front of house team in our North Walsham office. This position is suited for someone who has excellent communication skills, a proactive nature and can welcome visitors in a friendly and professional way. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

The role will be a mix of welcoming visitors, dealing with calls and queries, whilst also supporting our busy Conveyancing and Private Client teams.
- Greeting and welcoming visitors as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Directing visitors to the appropriate staff members.
- Ensuring the reception area, meeting rooms and communal areas are tidy and presentable, with all of the necessary stationery and materials in place.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Updating calendars and booking meeting rooms.
- Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning on post.
- Audio typing for Private Client Lawyers and other members of the Private Client Department.
- Answering and screening incoming calls.
- Making calls to assist the Fee Earners with administrative tasks.
- Opening and closing client files in line with the firm's procedures.

**Role Requirements**
- Previous work experience in a front of house role is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to new systems/procedures.
