**Location**: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
**Salary**: £22,000 - £25,000
**Job Type**: 6 months FTC - Hybrid Working
Our well-established client, leading specialist provider of IT services, are looking to expand their Credit Control team This is a great opportunity to join an exciting, growing company, where you will offer support to the credit team in debt recovery andhanding of finances through administration, on a fixed term contract basis.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Produce and issue copy billing documents to clients
- Processing of direct debits
- Managing incoming calls to Credit Department
- Small balance write offs
- daily
- Ledger housekeeping
- Suspense account management
- Unallocated cash review and management
- liaising with the credit team where necessary
- Sourcing remittance advice notes where needed
- Monthly statement production and distribution
- Supporting the credit team in collection of some trade debtor accounts
- Logging of client queries and updating of notes in the system
**Skills Required**:
- Confident user of Excel and ideally Sage 50
- Organised, with the ability to multi-task well
- Strong analytical and numeric skills
- Great attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, with high motivation and a positive approach
- To work as part of a highly professional and friendly team, with flexibility to also work independently on individual tasks or specific projects
